• Slow Fish Africa was of­fi­cially launched as a re­gional Slow Fish Net­work
• Slow Fish 2016 in North Amer­ica: More than 200 fish­er­men, chefs, sci­ent­ists, act­iv­ists and stu­dents from 20 US states
• The net­work in Brazil has taken the first steps for two new Slow Food Presidia
• In col­lab­or­a­tion with the Aal­borg Con­vivium, Slow Food or­gan­ized the "SLOW MEAT meets SLOW FISH" event in Thorup Strand, Den­mark
• In 2016, Slow Food paid spe­cial at­ten­tion to the pro­ject Ark of Taste
